is anybody running modded 257 carbies on there qds. i got hold of a 2nd hand 26cc QD ht & its got a modded 929 on it, ran ok,  was thinkin about tryin 257. please let me kow what u think.

I'm running a 257 on mine and it seems to work fine. It wouldn't hurt to run one and see if it seems to make any real difference to you.
From looking at Quickdraw's site it appears that they prefer that you use a YK 33 carb.

Gday Ron,i tried a modded  wyk 33 i picked up 2nd hand on my other other qd, it ran quiet strong but i had issues with shutting it down, so i put the modded 644 back on,

929 is better carb than a 257 to me anyway cant see you seeing any improvements swapping it.

Baseline settings are 2 low 1 high and tune from there ,oh happy new year.

Indulge the QD-HT with a Walbro HDA-48. [ L I N K ]

Use a aluminium isolator and external pulse.
