Wodnering if those who have assembled the SM Large Hawk D4S nose light placed both nose LEDs within the white housing or glued them to the flat back plate with the led pointing into the holes?

I am guessing that it would be cooler to have them mounted on the back pointing in.

As far as the waffle lens, is flat side out the brighter option - seemed to me that way in the shop..

Thanks for any help,
Dave

Dave,

I'm using a single LED and flat side in. Not sure which is brighter, but you can still see my light on final. Pictures attached.

I have both lights mounted to the back of the white piece, in the two holes. Mine is very bright. I also painted the edges of the light cover.

Thank you,
Which part of the waffle lens is out in yours, flat side?

Thanks
