What a way to start the new year! Loving my 1/4.5 scale hawk as I am, I was delighted to see the first photos of the new giant scale hawk fuselage moulding. James and I have been discussing this for a while now, and I have to say. I was hoping that it would make an appearance early on this year, but day 1!!! What a start.
Loving the fact its got a decent size access hatch! If it remains as user-friendly and a practical a plane as my current FEJ hawk is right now, then I am going to be one happy hawk pilot in 2013.
Cant wait to see the sheer size that the Hawk 100 fuselage is going to come in at!
Now. Decisions, decisions.... What colour is a boy to choose

Just how big are they going to get. looks nice but would have to rethink your transportation for one of those

Old Fly Eagle seem to have gotten back in vouge lately. They were not so popular a year or so ago. What has suddenly happened ?

Better do it in a middle eastern colour. Better sale value that way

FEJ has been at just about every major event flying the snot out of their planes. At BITW Skymaster was nowhere to be found... No promotion, no awareness.

Jamie.
I am actually seriously considering that scheme. I hated it when I first saw it, but I have a small Viper done in it and its goring on me.. fast ! Although I have my fingers crossed that FEJ might do me a 100 variant quite soon, as its the ugly long nose of the 100 that I really like.

Regards Al

LOL.. I must be regressing. I spent a few years living in a town called Goring

Anyway. I think I am going to go with the 2012 display colours. There are a few bits on it I dont like, but I guess it will stand out well in the sky! Thats is unless I can get a Hawk 100 in the same time frame.

Regards Al

I too think a 180 will be just too little thrust. It will fly it I am sure, but not how you would want a hawk to fly.
