Ok group this one was lurking on the shelf NIB packed along with a Davis head, just took off the glow head, on with the Davis, ABC engine so Davis ABC fuel, no never run as glow.\
decided to run a mild prop wood Zinger 8x4, fueled, primed and flipped , kickback after kickback finally at 2 turns out on the compression screw off it went, really had a tight pinch
at top finally after many flips off it went settled at 9200,went in poured a cup of coffee came back to it 11200 and missing at this point stop, cool, restart compression adjusted to about one turn
out and humming nice kept it on the rich side for plenty of oil out the stack so far maybe 10 minutes total now has that nice bounce 5 or 6 flips on restarts, engine clean no soot or carbon see pix, that white stuff is just some sawdust the prop picked up, little more times revs will pick up and will go to a 9x4 prop martin

In good shape on 10s 4TTs 4 OS FPs all davis heads

OK diesel group this is one that TT should consider bringing back, all the nice features for a modern design engine ABC, light weight muffler, good carb with angled needle I consider an improvement over the older OS 10s if it hit the streets again likely Davis would bring back the conversion head for it martin
a very good all around sport engine, the 07 is a waste of time and money in that general size the PAW 06 is one and the MP jet 061 is back

Martin,
I don't know if there will be a whole lot of anythng new in glow engines. With the rapid advancement of electric many are saying glow is dead. Like you, there are a few engines I'd really like to see reintroduced but it is only wishful thinking, regretably.

Glow is becoming like diesel.

A niche interest that in the not too distant future will be catered for by small specialist concerns.

Like diesel is now.

FIERY Sadly have to agree a dramatic decrease in the postings on the glow site also. We are the few holdouts here, and have been been in this for a while, my guess most of the folks here
