Status: offline 		New to the site hope you guys can help me out a little, i just bought a trophy truggy 4.6 and after 6 pulls before engine ran first time i believe my starting pin has sheared off. Im new to this engine so i looked in the book and after checking one way bearing was fine i spun starting shaft with no catch, i pulled of plate to see what happened inside and all i can see is a small black dot flush with the rod, i dont know if pressure spring fell out when i removed plate tride to be careful about it and seen no pin either or any broken pieces. I took motor off pulled carb off and shook motor with lots of light to see if it was in crankcase and didnt find. I called hpi they are sending me a new pin and spring, does anyone have a picture of how this pin and spring looks when being installed and how do i get old pin out?

Status: offline 		the owb is suppose to catch going one way and not the other. They usually get loaded up with oil from the fuel and stop working. I found a quick fix is to pull the shaft wipe it off and put it back in. Takes me about 5 min if that to pull my roto start cover and do this.
