Good luck!

Ive been looking for one for the better part of a decade. When they do pop up, they are either incomplete or absurdly expensive. In 10 years i have only seen 3 for sale, and one of them was RTF and the other was missing landing gear and the sweep mechanism.

Yes I know they are very rare.. But I thought seeing how as many pilots are going for bigger and bigger jets these may become more readily available..

I know of a kit over here in Australia but its not forsale.. Does anyone know what happened to David Laws one which was on the front page of Jet Int magazine back in 2005??

I would love to buy one and put two Jet Munts VT80's in it!!

Don't hold your breath. Yellow has some wonderful products but getting new versions and new kits are their weakest area. I have aged a decade since I last tried to put my name on the list to get one from them. The F-22 took forever to be available. They have also stopped making arf's as far as I can see. I would so like to have some of the designs they bought up years ago brought to market or sell the designs so others could.

I believe the shift to everyone wanting larger models has pretty much put a stop to the newer version of a YA F-14.. (I'm not saying they have stopped, this is all an assumption on my part since its been 10+ years of "coming next year). If this is true, its a shame as it would be a great candidate for a scale EDF version.

I have even hinted towards some of the YA guys about seeing if they would be interested in assisting with my F-14 project so as to get it off the ground and available to the public sooner (i've done near all of the hard parts already!lol), but no luck on that front either.

Hey Andrew,

Normally mighty expensive. I received a quote to ship a 1.5m long He-162 salamander fuse from Germany to Oz about 3 weeks ago and it was about 500euros. slow boating it might be better.

I get some discounts for shipping airfreight in my game. They are not super, but might help you out a little. let me know if you need any help.

Thanks

dave

Ok I have myself a Tomcat kit.. A friend of mine is in the process boxing it up and posting back to me in oz.. Has anybody got the following parts either new or second hand: Retracts and swing wing mechanism??

Does anyone know of a biuld thread for this plane or where I could find some pics of the construction of the Tomcat??

I'm planning on installing two jetmunts vt80's in it .. Should have plenty of power!!
