1. I have an excellent low time McCoy35 with a shiny style case and an offset head. It is apart at present for cleaning. Before I re-assemble it, I want to be sure that it has the proper head. I have both the offset and centered style on hand. Which style is correct?
2. Who manufactured it (Testors or Duromatic)?
3. When was it manufactured?

Status: offline 		My McCoy 35 is low time too. Never could get it to start twice in the same hour. I think I poured more glow fuel over it (for cooling) than it ever burned. Have kept it wrapped up in a sock for over 50 years now, because it was my first engine.

Status: offline 		I had several 35's, 19's and a 40. I never had any trouble with starting and running. I thought they were great engines. Must have been lucky..

Status: offline 		I had a McCoy 35 an it vibrated so bad it tore the nose off the plane....made a real flying fish head.
I left that thing where it landed....that was more than 50 years ago and I expect it is still there because anyone who found it would leave it once they saw what it was..
It was the only engine I ever had besides a K&B Allyn .049 that was so much trouble to run or would not run.....well...wait...Wen-Mac .049 wouldn't run either.

Status: offline 		I had 2 of these beauties, ran great all the time and if I plowed a furrow - rinsed them off - applied a new screw and ran them some more. Probbaly near 500hrs. on them over the years. then made a ventury baffel on one and learned to fly RG.
