Shipping times from the "International" warehouse can be long. 3 weeks is the longest I've experienced.

Have you followed the tracking number for your order?

I've heard of some people havin problems with the air-mail option. Did you choose that?

Yeah, I'm not looking at an HK, but there are two different shipping options and the one that sounds faster is a problem.

I've had batteries take 4 weeeks from HK International warehouse in middle of the year. Maybe add at least a week for the holidays. UPS took almost 2 weeks getting a small box from Futaba Service in Ill to central New Mexico. Finally arrived last week.

Before the holidays I ordered pair of motors from the US warehouse and later the same day I found a deal on the Zephyr (fantastic plane by the way) from China. Guess which one got here first?

I think most of the slow shipping issues involve LiPos getting though some kind of check by Chinese customs.

When I ordered it says the US warehouse had them, but then said they didnt have them in US so I dont remember what kind of shipping, they must be flying a ultra lite from China to get them here

There may be an issue with shipping.  I seem to recall HK getting their hands slapped for shipping LiPos by air, which they are not supposed to be doing anymore.

Just got a parcel this morning, containing switches and two receiver batteries (lipos).
Took two weeks, paid the lowest shipping cost too.

You guys got it all wrong! The shipping date isn't when they ship you your goods, it's when they ship your money into their account.

in my experience, it takes about the same amount of time to get shipping from the USA warehouse as it does from the International warehouse.
The primary difference I have seen is cost of shipping.

I hear many people complain about HobbyKing. For me, it is a matter of expectations.
If I expect/want great customer service and good support, then I buy a US product from a US manufacturer via a US supplier or local hobby shop.

If I want something cheap, and am willing to live with a 10-15% risk of something being broken and being pretty much on my own with respect to troubleshooting... (there is usually enough help on groups like this)
Then I go with HobbyKing.

With my expectations set appropriately, I'm generally happy with the results.

The biggest beef I have with the local market is with the price or cables and batteries.
I'm sorry but $9 for a wire lead is robbery .... When I can buy a pack of 6 for $3.95 from HK !!!

I am still waiting on F3A Unlimited to re-stock thier packs (4900). They have a nice set of packs from what I understand and they are right under $100.00 per pack. The HK USA distribution center gets them out pretty quick when they have them in stock. In the past I have waited for over a month for International orders from HK to arrive, some faster, some not so fast? I do know their is a U.S. Customs/ International trade agreement that is slowing the shipping of hazzardous materials to and from the USA.

I am still waiting on 4 sets to arrive from HK.

My orders take usually 3-4 Weeks.
Tracking only works until they hand it over to the airline, so it's pointless.

While it does not take long to ship the goods, they can sit for a weeks or two in US customs before they will
get to them. Very seldom a package will be inspected on it's way out of any country.

I have had good experiences with HK, and I still buy locally. But I see almost anything I can buy in a local hobby shop was made in China.
