Anyone have the numbers for the cg location for the SR Telemaster? Ive aquired one that was started but never finished and I didnt get none of the paperwork with it. Ive got it all put together and ready for a maiden flight just as soon as I get the cg set right.

Thanks everyone.

Wing spar is probably a safe starting point. I cant imagine its sensitive unless you get really far back or forward.

Thats kinda what I thought aswell and I have done that to only need about 3.5 oz of lead on the nose to balance out. Ive got a old but brand new os .50 max mounted on it, are they normally a tail heavy plane?

Depends on the engine used but usually they come out a bit tail heavy. I had an old OS .61 in mine and I think I had to add some lead.

How did yours fly with that .61 on it? I figure this .50 ought to fly it fairly well, I really dont want to over power this plane as I want to use it to get back to the basics of flying. I just want it to be a simple airplane with just enough power to get its self out of trouble when needed.

It had plenty of power even with the old worn out engine. It would loop that big plane. I think you could use rubber bands to fly that plane. It's the most fun you can have when the wind comes up, I could get it to fly backwards. Loved that plane!! I built it for the club trainer and three of us learned to fly with it. I got tired of doing all the repairs and storing it for the club though. I did make it so the wing was held on with bolts instead of RBs.
