Hi Guys,
I just got a beautiful FG Truck off E-Bay that comes with a brand new engine....the seller said he sent the break in instructions
in the box but maybe during the customs clearance process it got lost...anyway can anyone advise me of the break in process.

run it a tad rich for first 10mins with bursts of wot...don't poo poo around doing a gazillion heat cycles or idling for ages..these are not anything like nitros . let it cool off a bit...tune it by plug colour and thrash the hell out of it....it'll love you for it...you don't have to "run" these engines in...my last 3 obr full mods i've run wot off the get go and now they run real strong, put a new ring in one after 25 tanks and internals were 100% and it's still running like a beast
i run 25:1 for the first tank then switch back to 32:1

Yep, no break in to speak of, just take it easy for a half tank at the most, just to let everything seat, then go for it.

^ What that man says. (He knows his stuff ) Im still trying to get my new 29cc Zen broken in, haven't really had time. It seems like it's going to be a beast for the FG.

Thanks for your input guys.
By the way the customs officer at the wharf had the instructions sheet so i got it from him and trust me i get dizzy everytime
i read it because it is intense so i will just drive it easy, varying the speed to maximum half throttle then just
"GO FOR IT" like Foxy suggests.
I will post some pics shortly.
