I want to put my boat in the classifieds, but I've searched them and Ebay and haven't been able to find something comparable enough to figure out what it's worth. It's a Supervee27 circa 2007. While running in a local lake the side of the boat clipped a metal pole sticking out of the water (awesome place for a pole). I did my nonprofessional best to repair the fiberglass with a fiberglass repair kit and paint, but it's less than perfect as you can see in the pics. Everything is functionally great. The boat was run 5-6 times.

A couple of minor mods were made so that the interior wood is waterproofed and foam was added to the hull to aid in floating if flipped. I have two Duratrax DTX3800 batteries that will go with it. It comes with a prop, but I cannot remember what prop it is. The controller will be included.

What's a reasonable price to ask?

Gonna get back into cars/trucks. I was always too scared of having to jump in a lake to go after an expensive boat.

I paid 145 shipped for a lipo ready non crash damaged SV. Same version as you but slightly upgraded. Damaged, not lipo ready, 100$ maybe. Used boats do not hold their value. Most guys consider themselves lucky to get 50% of the investment back. Especially with the economy being kinda bad!
Just a couple weeks ago I paid 80$ for a much higher quality used 29" hull and hardware with 2 hatches and no damage.
The batteries are not worth much of anything. Not many people are interested in paying to ship used batteries. Especially Ni-Mh packs.
You may very well be better off keeping it!
On another forum a guy is selling his used record setting 32"hull, this morning he dropped to 65$ shipped.

Thanks, Siberian. I need to mull it over. Maybe I won't be so scared to lose it in a lake if I think about it only being worth $75 to $100.

You said, "Not many people are interested in paying to ship used batteries. Especially Ni-Mh packs." Just out of curiosity, why not? Are you not supposed to ship them via regular shipping? Thanks, again.

re posting those batteries. They are quite heavy so not really worth the postage. Also if folk are buying another battery I suspect they would take the opportunity to upgrade to lipo, life or updated sany eneloop.

Lighter weight and higher performance with LiPo packs, the cost of Lipos from China is so low that for sport running it doesn't make much sense to pay to ship older batteries.
You can now get 2s 5000mah packs that will run fine in a SV for about 25$ a pop from HK.
Stuff some cut up pool noodles up under the deck, won't sink that way. Some people pour two part expanding foam in the bow, I don't like that stuff at all, makes a huge mess trying to get it out if you have to do hull repairs.
Sucks about the crash you had, I had to do a bunch of hull repairs to my Motley Crew, had a meeting with a SV27 in a turn one day, minimal damage to the SV, caved in the left sponson on my boat pretty good. Oh well that's racin'. Was back on the water for the next weekend, still haven't bothered to paint the repairs, still fiberglass, bondo and primer. Looks meaner this way!
