Hey Guys,
I am looking for some Q40 carbon props, I have been using the German ones but have none left, they would have the nos on top of the hub, No 2 was for the Jett engines, & the no 3 was for the Nelson engine, just wondering if any of you guys out there might have some lying around that arn't been used any more. If any body can help me out here can you please PM me.
Thanks
Dave

Hi Kevin,
I find those APC carbon 7.4 x7.5 props to heavy for my engine, I dont want to play with head shims to get it to come up on the pipe.
Those German number 3 props work perfect every time, but I think the guy that use to make them is right out of it now & has been for a while but I could be wrong.
If any body can share some imformation that would also be great.
Thanks
Dave.

Dave, bad news for you, no props.......my resin has crystallized( sugary), the hardener appears to be alright and although I can heat and stir the resin the supplier in Auckland doesn't recommend it.
I'm using a 'prepreg' and heat activated epoxy- to purchase more is not really financially viable for your order. Sorry about that but if I get anymore orders that justify purchase of more epoxy then I shall let you know, Trevor H

Lots of wood props out there as well if you don't mind a little trial and error.
