Status: offline 		my friend bought an rs4 3 that came with the traxxas 3.3 installed....waaaaaay too much power it just kept doing lambo donuts until the front diff blew, and the rear dogbone twisted. it came with a .15, and i figured i'd throw that in until he learns hot to drive it since he has a buggy that he keeps crashing into curbs. anyways, so i pulled the 3.3, and now i'm trying to figure out what parts i need for the .15. its just the motor, so i need the flywheel and clutches, shaft that the bell bolts to....etc. does anyone have the part numbers i should be looking for?

on a side note, i ended up taking some pieces of his redcat, and rebuilding the diff lol...oh well, it'll be a project for him. right now i took the redcat flywheel and had to cut the clutches down with a dremel to that the bell for the 2 speed fits on top to meet the gears. i have an rs4 as well, but its the .18. is it the same setup as the .15?  i also had to use the carb off his vertex .16 off his redcat. i'm curious if this engine even runs. i'm trying to get someone to buy the 3.3 so it doesn't cost him anything to throw in a .18 if it comes down to it.

Status: offline 		 this is where i'm at right now. the flywheel thats on there is almost rubbing on the brake, so i'd like to get one that actually fits right, but i just wanted to get it running to see if the engine works at all before i had him spend any money on it.

Status: offline 		change the flywheel to non-pullstart or you can move the break to the front of the spur gears, the opposite end of where its sitting right now.

Status: offline 		i wanted to do that but the radio tray is in the way for me to put the brake in the front. i'm not trying to have him spend a ton of money on this car, i just want it to run right now. i know i'm going to have to get the proper fly wheel for this car, i was just trying to rig it right now just to make sure it runs so he can order the parts online cheaper, since its going to need tranny gears, exhaust pipe, header, gas tank, clutch/bell, air filter, probably new diff gears for the front, axles, dog bones, wheels/tires... it all adds up if you go to the hobby shop, but before he orders the parts i wanted to make sure that everything else is ok with the motor.
