i have bought an avalance xte, excelent truck but i battle to turn the thing around. Can you advise on a upgraded steering servo or a solution

im not familliar with the XTE's steering setup, but check and see if there is an adjustment for the servo saver. If its loose it will make the steering weak.

Also, make sure the steering rate on the radio is turned all the way up.

A good, cheap servo is the tower pro MG996R servo. Its metal geared, and has good torque. And by cheap, I mean its under $20.
