I'm with you on that. I remember Air Force Basic Training in Texas in August @ 120 deg F +.

Is this Red Hontoun?  I was a member of the Brighton R/C then later the Livingston Co R/C. Now in Hamburg Flyers (closer to home)

Status: offline 		RCPAUL, I moved to Georgia 36 years ago and yes I still love doing that to my former northern neighbors. Moved here from Buffalo, N.Y. so I know snow and cold only too well. Sorry, I just can't resist being smug when it nice here. And yes, there are times in the summer when I stop flying as it's just too hot to be fun. The difference is you don't have to shovel the heat to get out of your driveway in the morning. OH, and the other "bad thing" about flying down here is that I have only flown off snow once. Used floats as skis, my LHS didn't have any model airplane skis in stock. Don't know why!
