Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction here. I did a search but it came back with too many results to scan through in one lifetime.
I have a scale Riviera boat and the fuel tank is down low. Want to pump up into a header tank with an overflow back to the main tank.
To do this I thought I had seen someone had hacked a walbro carby pump section and ran it off the exhaust or the inlet manifold.
Want to build myself, not buy commercial products such as perry.

really not much to it, once you open the carb up it will be easy to see what needs done. in a boat where weight isn't an issue you could just leave the carb whole.

basically you take off the regulator cover and diaphragm and in place of the flow needle plunger you put your fuel outlet nipple. add another nipple to the crankcase pressure pulse hole (some carbs already have this) and you're done. carbs with primer bulb may need a bit more done.

The one on the right is the one that I make out of Walbro carbs and use as a smoke pump. The one on the left is the big heavy bulky one that B&B sells. It is not hard to make; all you need is a couple of pressure fittings and the drill and tap for them.

Walbro used to sell a little pump just like this for use on go karts I believe it is. The Walbro number is WEP but I just searched the Walbro site and couldn't find it. Instead, I found this: www.walbro.com/media/5980/FPC%20pump%208-20-12.pdf

NGH has a small external pump regulatorthat they sell for their little NGH 9cc gas engines. it isn't priced all that much either and it uses Walbro parts too. One could just as easily remove the regulator parts and use it too. HiModel sells the engine parts. Sometimes you have to do a little fixing to the pump/regulator and other times you don't though.

Walbro also has this fuel pump too:
They say it is for four stroke engines but it seems to me ot ought to work for small 2 stroke gas engines as well.

Walbro WIP-13-1 and WIP13S.

Fits Walbro models 3020, 3027, 3028, 3029, 3043, 3044, and 3045 series pumps.

Not compatible with greater than 10% ethanol fuel.
