Discontinued Kits
If you could get one discontinued kit put back into production, what would it be?
My choice would be the Great Planes Trainer 60. Several of the guys at my club fly GP Trainer 60s. We were disappointed when it was discontinued a few years back. It is a great flying plane and not really a trainer. We all clipped our wings and took out the dihedral. Most of us also modified the tail back to the original version with the single piece elevator. It has to be one of the all time best sport planes. The group consensus is that the plane's name caused it to not be popular enough to stay in production. Those buying it looking for a trainer probably found it to be more difficult to fly than a true trainer, and those looking for a second or third plane may have overlooked it because of its name. I have a NIB kit put up for when my current one bites the dust. It has made it through about eight years, but having the kit on the shelf makes me feel better.

RE: Discontinued Kits
Carl Goldbergs Senior Falcon without a doubt. Best 2nd airplane there ever was!
Somebody should be lazer cutting a .40 and .60 sized ugly stick.
Any Kaos that Joe Bridi had a hand at designing.
Any of the Ace 4-20, 4-40, 4-60 or 4-120 series, good flyers and great fun to kit bash!

I would love to see someone kitting ACE models again. With the ease of lazer cutting I would think it would become economical to produce kits. Maybe if enough of us
write or E-Mail Acehobby.com they could change their minds and do something more than the Cloud Dancer ARF's.

RE: Discontinued Kits
Hossfly,
I just finished plowing through 127 pages of r/c stuff on e-bay; no BlueHeads that I saw. But something did catch my eye that would work just fine for this kit.
Now, to figure out this bidding business...
