Hey y'all.  I got this plane off Banana Hobbies.  Yes I know all about BH's service retutation blah blah.  Well, I just love the ME 262.  Always have.  Been looking for a airworld 90mm EDF version but never seemed able to get my mitts on one for some reason or another.  So with trepidation I made the purchase.  The plane was packed really well with no damage.  Best part about this arf, besides being a ME 262 was that the whole plane is screwed together.  NO GLUE.  Prehinged.  Took 30 minutes to put together stock out of the box.  Plane is stand off scale and finished quite nicely.  The airframe is assembled well and is structurally sound. Only had to add a z bend in the elevator control arm of the servo because the chinese linkage hardware, that was supposed to hold the pushrod kept slipping.   The gear is metal and servoless.  I was real worried about the gear having troubles with a f-86 edf that had gear that woud collapse or strip just by looking at it.  I got a couple 6S 4000mah 25C packs to fly on.  Basically all I needed to complete the arf were battery connectors.

Maidened this great plane today off our clubs dirt strip.  This plane flys really well.   Take off was scale as with the 25C pack, the engines are not super powerful but sufficient.  Gear is brought up shortly after rotation.  This ME262 has syncronized gear doors.  Very nice touch.  After take off, this plane flys like it is on rails at 1/2 throttle.  Low passes are sooo fun.  Flight time with my battery set up is only 4 minutes to allow for a go around if needed.  Drop the split flaps and it just settles right in.  Gear is sturdy as I bounced the plane down the runway on my flights today.  You may laugh at my pride, but I think the springs in the oleo gear are two strong.  There must be some way to dampen them because my landings today would have greased the runway in any of my large gas warbirds.   Lateral pressure on the gear on take off and landings is no issue at all.  Gear seems really stable.

I know this level of chinese rc equipment you have to be very wary.  and many times be ready to switch out components to get an airframe that flyswell.  I was quite pleased with the fit and finish of this plane and how the motors and electronics worked today.  Sorry no pictures as I had to duck out on short notice from my shop so I could maiden today.

Anyone else have this plane?  Cant wait unit I can fly it again.  Never thought I would be posting that I am actually happy with a product like this stock out of the box.

Not my picture...but I can attest that this is how the plane looks.  And it looks mean and menacing.

Looks very nice. Congratulations on the maiden. I have the Banana 50" Mustang and it has everything from retracts, flaps, sliding canopy, four bladed prop with spares, and even a sound system. All for about $130 shipped!
