Status: offline 		Jetero RC Club, Inc, NE Houston, TX area, (www.jetero.com) will host its annual Competition Fun Fly on Sat. Feb. 23rd 2013. This event is some 17 years running, previously called the Frozen Fickle Finger of Fate Fun Fly. There are some differences this year as there always are. At this time the plan is still 4 rounds, each round requiring TWO tasks. This year the last round will be a Paint Ball event. Watch for the final rules to be posted here around Feb. 10th.

This year will not include the usual CASH awards. Plaques for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places overall will be presented. Round winners will also receive a plaque.
At this time plan is for pilot awards during the event. In addition a raffle will be available for those that care to enter, including visitors.
Lunch provided for registered pilots. Check this listing for final changes suggested Feb 11, 2013.

All proceeds will be donated to the Dayton, TX Volunteer Fire Department, Club Contacts are on the above website. CD is Horrace Cain, AMA L-93, cainhd@aol.com

Edited to add that Paint Ball will be just one round, the last round. Several junky planes will be made available. Request that you bring your own HA!

Shooters will not be flying their own airplanes. Your buddy or the management selectees!!! Looks like - wx permitting - that there will be 2 events in the 4th round for Paint Ball.
Pistol type guns, using 10 rounds for 5 passes. Hopefully I will have a system worked out to use 4 balloons as the target, towed by the model. 4 balloons 2" X 5ft ea.
ganged into a two balloons abreast together followed by 2 balloons same. Fun shooting and no destroying airplanes. However I will have 4 old cruddy junkers out there for a go-get-em if the need is needed.

Sorry that this year will not have the previous years cash awards, however this is Jetero's turn to give something back to the community. The only fly in the ointment is the wx. BTW a small gas burner generator will be auctioned off rather than the usual ARF.
