I make no apologies about the sheer passion I have regarding "the hobby". While I'm still a newbie, I absolutely LOVE it. It's now crept into my dreams. Two nights ago I dreamed that I took my D8T to the track for the first time....and it broke in half (chassis and all)!  I remember going out and picking it up, just saying "It's no big deal, I can fix it. I can fix it!". Ha ha!

Curious if you gents ever dream about RC, and if so what's the craziest one you've had?

Yes.... I have... I once dreamed my Slash came to life and started smoking and then exploded. The blast pushed me into a ravine where people were chanting something like "Take the cornbread one!?" Why, I do NOT know. I must have been hungry.

Never dreamt about RC as far as I know. I tend to dream that I am exploring dangerous places, don't know why.

That is a beautiful dream Argess. I don't dream anymore. Medication and the corporate world have robbed me of my dreams. I envy you all.

Well, yea, but it was weird. Was flying this GIANT r/c blimp. Giant as in bigger than a 1:1 blimp. Took off, ran into some power lines, knocked down a bunch of power poles, knees knocking like crazy, then it blew up..... No, i don't use drugs lol.

In 21 years in the hobby I have had one that I can remember, and it was about a year ago. I dreamed that I was driving a Traxxas Summit in the desert in Nevada near where I used to live. I accidentally drove it down a very long steep hill that I didn't see, and it was too steep for me to go down and get it. So I locked the diffs and was trying to get it to climb back up the hill. I was upset when I woke up cause I wanted to see if it would make it lol.

I have no idea why I dreamed that, I've never owned or even driven a Summit. I wonder if it means I should get one, I might try to convince the wife of that lol.

Nice....

I dream about women, and certain things not allowed on this thread.

And, ever since then, I've needed a therapist!

I dream about going to the hobby shop. I actually have a dream shop that isn't reflected in the real world.

Never dream about rc
just have nightmares about my next day at work

can't be as bad as one I had I remember it pretty vividly. Dreamt I woke up went to work, and carried on a ful day came home went to sleep woke up, and was like god yesterday sucked, and looked at the clock and was like W T F... ITS THE SAME DAY.... scary thing is the day went almost exactly the same as the dream down to conversations with co-workers, and ppl calling up. I actually cut one off and answered everything before they asked, and they were just looking at me funny like how did you know I was gonna ask that stuff. Told the one he said WHOA YOUR LIKE BILL MURREY IN GROUNDHOG DAY...

Seriously that was the most screwed up thing I ever had

as for the OP's question occasionally mainly when I'm brooding over a design or a modification for a few days, and its running in my mind till I pass out(or the sleep pills kick in). I've not slept soundly since I had 3 courses that had heavy calculus at the same time when I was in college(been about 8 years)... Used to have nightmares of greek letters attacking me, and waking up in cold sweats back then

I get where you're coming from.  I'm teasing everyone.

Hell, if anyone here really needs therapy, beer, date, etc.  it's probably me!

HA! I did once, I dreamed I left my rc out side over night and in the am, I actually looked in the garage to make sure it was a dream. BUT one night, I woke up to my wife yelling " David, Stop chasing Brooke (my daughter) with that @#$% thing....Stop it, STOP it, can't you see Brooke is crying...." I shake her and wake her up and she says' what the hell are you doing chasing her with that thing? I said it's 3 in the morning you are dreaming! She yells, Put that thing away, you are going to wake the whole neighborhood! *sigh*

I just recalled that back in December I had a RC related dream. Now I do have a Savage, but in the dream I couldn't find any film for my camera, so no picture could be taken. Very odd as I have a digital camera and film is not an issue. Oh well, ... who can tell from a dream....

I dreamed last night that I drove my rc staight under my neighbors vehicle as he drove by with some c4 strapped to it and lit him up, flipped the whole truck over crushing him in the cab before it burst into flames in a fire ball. He tried to spray one of my vehicles once with the garden hose because he is always drunk and doesn't like them or the noise even in the middle of the day. I pray for his liver to give out soon.
