They have a museum at Freeman as well, it is open on Saturdays. There is a video on UT of an airshow held the fall of '45 that was unbelievable what sat on that ramp. I stay in Seymour every now and again and have walked out on the ramp, it is like the ghosts are still there.

Visit www.IndianaMilitary.org for a complete list and dozens of photos of the captured enemy planes once at Freeman Field.  Along with many American experimental planes.  This is the official site for Freeman.

What a small world. I live in Seymour and work at a company located on Freeman Field. There is a lot of history here. It is interesting to see the mounds of dirt during the warmer months as they continue to search for buried aircraft. Our RC field is also located on Freeman Field, it is a great flying site.
