Hi,
I'm looking for a truck that is very simular to the Savage XS 1/10. But I'd like it to be 1/8 because from what I've heard, they are very small. (Only 14" long) I just want some basic features, 4wd, electric, waterproof, metal gears, and BIG wheels. Something that would go pretty fast and still be strong at the same time. (I plan on plowing with it in the winter. But only 1-3") I'm not interested in Traxxas stuff, as I find them to be WAY over priced. I know about the Savage HP, but that's out of my price range. I'd like a kit if possible, and it needs to be $300 or under. I DO NOT want to spend anymore than that, as if there is no such truck that is relevant to the one I just described, I will have to settle with the Savage XS.

I think u are going to struggle getting a good quality car brand new for that price range.

If u were to check out the bigger branded manifactures they only have mini and morco cars in that price range.

U might have more luck with some of the cheap korean cars

oh hang on, here are some 1/10 MT's, the savage might be a little bit better tho, dont quote me on that
Tamiya Twin Hunter
Tamiya Twin Detonator
Tamiya WildDagger
Tamiya Blackfoot III
Tamiya Lunchbox

there is none really
only thing that is like a savage that I know of that is electric, and 1/8th is the savage flux, and that is over 2X more

there is the e-savage, but that thing pretty much was a failure, and I think is very similar in size to the XS.

I have an Exceed MadBeast and I'm very happy with it. It comes RTR with 2.4rx and two 2 cell lipo's. You can get it at hobbypartz dot com for around $350. Its not water proof but I water proofed the ESC with liquid tape a $4 fix ( YouTube has videos on how to do this) It's a strong and fast truck that is very similar to the savage. This might be the only rc truck that would be 1/8 size, similar and as close to the price that your looking for.

Similar or simular
sim·i·lar Pronunciation (sm-lr)
adj.
1. Related in appearance or nature; alike though not identical.
2. Mathematics Having corresponding angles equal and corresponding line segments proportional. Used of geometric figures: similar triangles.

He did say something like the savage.
Sorry for the confusion.

The MadBeast is almost a clone of the savage. Not many but some parts do fit. So I feel that its similar to the savage.
