its nice you dont follow in traxxas footsteps...LOL. 9/10 when they have a new model its a rehash of an old chassis.

I wouldnt think so. The 8e's all have 12mm hex. The earthquake has the largest wheels I know of that use a 12mm hex.
Anyway, The tires on the mirage may not be that much larger than a SCT tire. So no real reason to use a bigger hex IMO.

I know brushless is superior, even my sons Caldera 10e runs like a bat out of hell just on 2s Lipo, but I myself can't give up the sound and smoke of nitro. I love working on them, which you do a lot!

I agree! With only 2 redcat crawler choices they need a few more!

Even if they just took RS10 axles and made a ladder type chassis (simillar to a scx10) with scale bumpers and body that would be sweet.

I turned my rs10 into a more scale rig. But it took a fair bit of custom work.

But using the rs10's lower links, shocks, axles and electronics one can make a decent scaler if they build their own chassis. Would be cool if redcat did the same.

Status: offline 		I wish redcat would build a 10Th scale buggy with a out law big block engine for us out law racers. We have to drill the frames and use small block aluminum clutch bell and small block motor mounts with drilled holes in the engine mounts to fit the engine to the tornado chassis. When redcat could machine the chassis and linkage set up as a kit for a conversion?? Just a thought.

I have several customers drooling over it! I will have 1 for personal use but im not a brushed fan so mine will be brushless

Anyone can buy a 4wd onroad and there are tons of options. But if anyone wanted something unique to drive on pavement, now they have a option.

We still plan to offer the brushed version, but selling a big off road vehicle that goes 15MPH just won't do it for us.

The brushless version on the other hand is something we are very happy with

Homestly I am not sure a brushed version in this scale would be worth it.
