Just a question...Im not new to nitro by any means but did buy a nitro rustler today 2.5 that had been in storage for a bit...My problem is that there is like a milky white film all over the head ..inside of it and in the carb...the engine will turn over with the ez start and has compression. the throttle body is really had to slide in and out...prob from the junk in it....but I have never seen this before..Perhaps old fuel that does this...next how do I clean it all up or should i just get a new carb and eng etc?? Truck is in great shape and not much time on it but i can scrape this off with a knife and its almost like um toothpaste film if you know what I mean...Thanks again for any ideas....

Can you get it off with a toothbrush and nitro fuel?  If you try that, wear glasses.

If you want to get it spotless, disassemble engine and put all parts into a crockpot fill with pure antifreeze.
Once antifreeze is hot turn the pot to low and put motor in.

A nice tub of kerosene would work too, just no plastic parts or rubber seals should be soaked.
