Status: offline 		I have an old OS Version 1 120 Surpass that I have started running finally the last three years. Ran great until a pushrod bent so now I am going to replace those and check the valve clearance. The manual says between .04 and .10 mm for valve clearance. Is better to be closer to .04 or .10?

Status: offline 		Anything in that range is correct. The two feeler gauges in the tool kit OS has available are "go/no-go" sizes. One fits the other doesn't, and that's all that's needed.

Status: offline 		I have seen people take a folded-over piece of a cigarette wrapper and use that as a 'feeler guage'. I've done it myself, and had good results. I never did measure it though. But I believe that it would be within range.
