I'll miss it this year. Going to spring training for a week at the end of March in Sarasota with the Orioles this year as their guest. Everyone have fun and I'll see you either at the WRAM, Toledo, or FIF this spring.

Coming down to Orlando area on Saturday the weekend before. Any know of a local club that may be flying before the event. I would love to get in a couple of flights before the event now that we can't get in on Wenesday.

Hey Jon if you are going to go to Perry I have puchased a Hanger 9 p47 150 kit from a guy going there. I would be willing to pay you $50.00 to pick it up and bring it down to FL Jets to me on Saturday.

Just a thought to help you pay for some gas Let me know if you intereseted.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Not sure how it will work out, might be in the car, but if I have room maybe we can work something out. Won't know until a couple of days before.

Ok no big deal if you don't have room. I plan on picking it up in July at Jets over Kentucky. I bought the kit to have to build at another time. Thanks for replying.

I would love to stay and fly Sunday but I have a 12 hour drive home and need to be back to work Monday.

I have a couple of Hanger 9 Electric conversion birds, a p-47 razor and p-51 that Rips...I would love to fly them there. I have the new spektrum telemetry and I can get 130mph out the Jug with no wind. Not bad for 80" electric warbird

I'm glad I went last year so that I could say that I've been but I'm not going back this year. I wouldn't expect much on Sunday if last year was anything to go by; the place was a ghost town (although the strong wind might not have helped).

Hey Guys, Need a little info.
This will be my first time coming to FL Jets. Going to have my camper in tow and arrive probably late on Thursday. I don't see anywhere online to pay for the camping. Is that going to be an issue coming in after hours? I am assuming the gate will be open and it will be self explanatory as to where to park. A little advise from the seasoned regulars would be helpful.
Thanks,
Gary

Gary,

I just pulled up FTE's web page and it say's that there is a charge of $20.00 dollars a night for camping. There are no hook-up's and when you arrive you can call the phone# at the gate to get info.

Usually Friday and saturday are the best days to come watch as wednesday is set-up day and thursday is more of a warm-up day for the guy's that don't live in the sunshine state. ( Where they get to fly all year round).
