Status: offline 		Hitec has a new low cost charger the CG 340. Is it possible to charge a Hitec transmitter with this charger without shortcircuiting the protection diod in the transmitter.

Why would you need to remove the battery to charge it? I thought the diode only inhibited the discharge of the battery. I charge my Eclipse TX battery all the time with both my Hobbico and Hitec Field chargers -- their both peak chargers. When I want to cycle it I remove it and connect it to my Hobbico Accucycle Plus.
