Dear Futaba team,

I have a twofold question:

1) I would like to know how to setup flap to elevator mix on my T18MZ. I am using an aeroplane with only one flap servo and two elevator servos. The only standard mixing within the menu setups for flap to elevator mixing is for camber flap etc. But I am only using one flap servo that operates both my flaps at the same time.
2) If the above is not possible with a standard mixing the radio offers then the next option is to use a programmable mix option. I have tried this but when I assign the flap as master and elevator as slave the mixing only reacts to one elevator servo. How can I have both my elevator servos react to this one programmable mix? Or do i need to assign two programmable mixes for the two separate elevator servos?

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.

Marius

When you select a function for "Flaps", it doesn't matter whether you have one flap servo/channel or multiple servos/channels operating flaps. The Camber Flap -> Elevator mix will work nicely. "Regular" flaps are called "Camber Flaps" in the menu because they do just that: change the camber of the wing in their location.

Hi Bill,

Thank you very much for the reply. I sat down last night and worked it all out. You are indeed correct I can use camber flap to elevator mixing. I was just battling to figure out the rate percentages on elevator and was not sure how it was used in the menu. I now understand the menu. Took me a while though.
Once again thank you for your help. You guys are awesome!
