hi is this your first build and have you ever flew a quadcopter before? if you never have i suggest you save some money buy something entry level to learn orientation and get used to throttle control. if will save you from expensive cost fixing something more expensive to learn on. heli-max 1sq is a great start quads cheap and very stable. blade mqq as well, and even larger.

tend to agree with the comments about starting with a purpose built kit if you havent built or flown them before. I would probably chose the Blade mQX ready to fly system. You will find it flies similar to a coax machine but more fun because it can handle the wind outdoors. I Strongly recommend using fluoro orange strips on the arms and landing gear or similar to improve visibility and orientation in the air. Orange duct tape strips works very well for me. Hereis the Blade link

However, if you want to build your own then think about what you want to do with it. If aerial photogrpahy then consider
Using some of the Hobbyking carbon fibre landing legs to give you space under the belly to hang the camera underneath.
My biggest mistakes have always been to build the frame and wire it up and then to wonder where the hell to fit the camera.
I then muck around reworking the wiring and frame to make space! But I am a slow learner!!

I like to have a separate Battery Eliminator Circuit to power the receiver rather than taking it off the ESCs.

Finally one of the Hobby king power distribution boards can save you a lot of soldering time and get some of their silicone wire.

Phil
