Don't use a wooden prop for an airboat, they shatter and you don't want that.

Status: offline 		Don't use a wooden prop on any airboat. There are no 'pros'. The 'cons' - when water spray hits a wooden prop it acts like small rocks, splintering the wood. Once the prop is splintered it will be out of balance, damaging the motor bearings. It will be noisy too. Don't do it, plastic props are cheaper and better. I use both APC and MasterAirscrew plastic props on my airboats. I much prefer the former.
