I am looking for apc carbon fiber props.
I am interested in 7.4x8, 7.4x8.1 and 7.4x8.25.
If anyone has any of these sizes that you would be willing
to sell, please let me know.

You live around the block from APC?

Are the higher pitched props (8+ pitch) still made?

Thank you for the help.
I am pretty sure that apc no long makes the sizes that I am
looking for. I thought maybe someone on here might have some
that they do not need.
To be safe, considering the Rpm that these props turn, they should
be new, never used props.
Roger.

Wow, it looks like they have discontinued the quickie 40 props! The carbon prop list is cleared. There looks to be only some shallow pitch carbons on the long list. If this is true, Fred must be turning in his grave.

The one i have left is a 7.4x8. just for reference its the same load as a APC 8x7 sport prop. I will go down there friday and find out what is left and get the story.

I think that they run less pitch on the Long stroke nelsons then they run on the short strokes.
I would have thought that you would want more pitch, But
I am sure that they know what they are doing.

yes dont always assume a "long" stroke will be slower rpm. APC still stocks the 7.4x6 - 7.4x7 props. They dont make the 8's any more but has some on hand. I will buy some tomorrow but want to know how many you would like?
