This is a CMB 65. Beyond that I really don't know. I believe it is a ducted fan engine. Anyone know for sure? Or have any experience with one?

Yes it looks like it to me. In the marine world those are the top engines

The big heatsink head indeed indicate it is a ducted fan engine, CMB are very good engines!

And marine and ducted fan engines from the same manufacturer are generally the same case and p/l. I never knew CMB did DF engines. Course I never looked either..

I have a 65 green head marine engine. You ever see the craftsmanship that goes in them ? The connecting rod has needle bearings around the pin that hooks to the crankshaft . They are the best in the marine world , expensive little jokers. Seducerboats is the US dealer
