I am having a devil of a time finding a Valve/Regulator for the MSR ISOPRO style Propane/Butane tank.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Altecare also has a valve but I can't find it on the site.

You can use any of the valves used for the powermax cans, I used the MSR fuel for a while, but compared to propane it's too expensive, I only use propane now, this is what you need for the MSR can:

That picture is not of an on/off valve.

I think Peter's is number AS1-13-1 but you had better confirm with him

Please check the website before reaching a conclusion, that is what he has posted on his website as a gas can valve, and yes I know previously the one he had works with an opening/closing knob (I have one) but even if it does not have the knob, it will work since the turbine should have a solenoid valve...

NO Matt he is not going to fly with that big can in his plane.
He is going to use the can to start his turbine with I would say as its gas start.
This can will be outside of plane and once engine has started and is running on Kero he will disconnect the gas line. This will stop him from using a gas bottle In plane.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

A cheaper option would be to  buy one of these.

Use the  propel regulator and adaptor you get with the airbrush and connect some tubing to it.  Screw cap will go straight on your gas bottle and way you go.  I also run a fine filter on the line but that’s up to you. I use this to start me Kingtech 170 on my Rookie and works perfect.  You can also use the airbrush for those touch up jobs and for the price its great value for money.
This has been proven not only by me but also by a few members that I now.

Ivan

Yes I figured that :-) forgot the obligatory smilie in my post.

Unless he adds another external on/off valve, when he hooks that pictured valve up, well I hope he is not smoking at the time. That valve that was pictured earlier in this thread:

Picture: http://www.altecare.com/airpropanetankvalve.JPG

appears to be for onboard use, UNLESS you add another external valve to it, all the gas will shoot out, very dangerous.

You HK item looks slick.

These are what I have in stock. This valve has a fairly precise flow adjustment, as it is not simply an on - off valve.
