Hey CP, if you go to Belgium, try to go when the Days of Speed and Thunder pulse jet event is on, or the SpeedCup F3speed event. I was this close (fingers held a 1/16" apart) to snagging a ticket last summer and heading for DST. Local B&B accommodation is quite reasonable, $23 Euros a night if I recall correctly. I will see what $ I can get a flight for this year but more than two weeks ahead of the event this time..

The 2013 Speedcup is flown from the 12th to the 14th of July, in Osnabrück Germany.

Some serious craftsmanship (and big money) there...

And now for the funny part: if you want to fly at the Osnabrück club as a guest, your plane has to pass a noise test.... I suppose they make an exception for the speedcup...
