Status: offline 		Hobbyking just released the new 6s and 10s versions of the Turnigy AquaStar brushless motors!

6s (1050kv) AquaStar

10s (620kv) AquaStar


These are in the international warehouse, so if you want to get it in a decent amount of time be sure to use EMS shipping (or else it will take WEEKS!)


I'll bet these things haul ass with some good LiPo packs behind them!!

Status: offline 		Hmm max 6s rating and only 1050kv? Wonder what happens if you run it at 8s the get the rpm into the proper range.
Internal resistance also a bit high compared to Leopards and a couple other similar motors.
Just going by the numbers I have my doubts about the efficiency of these motors. And the ratings are way off for boat use.
6S @ 1050kv puts you not much over 22 000rpm unloaded.
I'd like to see somebody giving them some hard runs pushing the voltage and get the rpm up to about 30 000 before I'd spend 67$ on one, only about 30$ more and your into a Leopard which is a well known and tested mid range motor.
Looks nice, but you can't see it when the lids taped up and the boats on the water!

Status: offline 		HOR Racing motors are much better built and the cost is the same. HOR motors are custom built by TP Power and can take the juice! check them out!
