i built a Tri-copter for the first time. we are running kk2 board with 1.5 firmware, Rctimer bc3635 motors, fly color 40A escs, props are gws slow fly 10x4.5, battery is thunder power 3s 45c 2250. mild flying gets 10 minutes and more agressive get 7 minutes. absolutely love it. http://youtu.be/h703uGo7WxE this link is to the video of my 18 year old son flying it for the first time.

thanks for the comments. I actually carved the body out of HDU Foam that is used in the sign industry. it is very light weight and paints like a dream i started this build similar to the RCexplorer tri but wanted something that looked cooler. i even looked into Truggie frames and poly body for it but opted to carve one. i am going to make a mold from this one and fiberglass another to see if i can lighten a little. the trip weighs 2.4lbs flying weight now and probably has enough power to lift a six pack of cola.
