So my fiancée wants a tank! HL Panzer IV F2 to be precised.

where can I find one in Canada/USA? I keep finding metal upgraded versions or the short barrel one. Can I buy the short barrel and stick a long barrel metal? Or is the mantel/turret different?

Tying to keep cost down since its a tryout for now.

Help!

One US vendor I have bookmarked & always check for availability is YourRCstore.

I believe they have both the metal upgrade PzKpfw.IV Ausf.F2.Sd.Kfz & the standard version, hurry while supply lasts.

Not really true, but it looks like you might have to take an extra step & use something called Bongo to purchase & ship outside the US, & I'm not sure how that affects the costs, time, reliability ... etc.

International Shipping now Available

Hehe i saw that and if it was 2000 i would 'try it'.

It's 2013, if a store/e-store can't figure something out as simple as international order US/Canada then i prefer to send my money elsewhere.

Also BONGO doesn't have a great feedback rating. A lot of stuff goes to the wrong place, huge shipping delays, etc etc etc.

I learned from 10+ years of online ordering that every extra step you add = more chances something will go wrong.

Thanks for the link though, if we were in the US i would use that store, i would have saved $50.

Anyone out there have a few spare Panzer IV roadwheels? I'm making a side container to put a few in.

I hit up a couple websites and they were sold out of them... The one's that had them wanted as much in shipping (or more) than the parts themself. I'm sure someone has a few spares after switching to metal one's!?

Shoot me a PM! I'm in Canada. I can pay via Paypal.

Cruiser,
The one thing you want is a Sound and Smoke Tank. The one in the link from Franz70, is a non sound and smoke. You can tell becuase it offers 3 different frequencies where the sound and smoke only use one. The advantage other then the sound ( the smoke unit will most likely not work properly ) is they have speed control. The muti-freq tanks have one speed, fast. Just a littlle info.

While i wait for my new electronics i do have one of those mato upgrade kits laying around (got it very cheap awhile back).

Can i stick that in it? It will give I/R to fight other HL until we switch to Tamiya system + sound, correct?

Did you already order the tank?

Rc Dynasty on eBay is based in missisauga and within canada you get items in just a few days.

They have the metal upgrade P4 in stock right now

They can also find you parts they don't have listed, such as the roadwheels.

eBay Panzer 4 / metal tracks and stuff.

Yes and it came out to like 100 shipped non S&S.

I already have a I/R upgrade kit with a RX-18 boar for it. AFAIK it should all work and get some sound in it.

If you really get stuck trying to find these, they are on this site, 4th row down, on the left.
