Maybe someone on here can find this for me. I was looking at an RC magazine and there was a picture of a red composite airplane with what appeared to be fixed tricycle gear at a show. There was only a small blurb about it and I swear the maker had the word "golden" in it. It was a 50 cc model. I cannot find the picture in my magazine collection and am going nuts trying to figure out the maker, type of airframe, more pictures, etc. Does anyone out there know the picture or anything about the plane? I've looked at the WRAM list of vendors and didn't see any that had the air frame on their website.

I know it's not much to go on but it's all I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, the model maker name was not one I was familiar with.

Could it have been Fred Randle's Golden Era 60? Here is a photo of it and the Bipe version.

That's a real Easter Egg Hunt !
Can you provide more detail about the plane other than 50cc, red, tricycle gear?  Was it high,  mid, low wing? Scale, sport, aerobatic ? Decals, artwork?

After thinking for a bit this is the first plane that comes to mind. 50cc, red, composite, trike gear:

Tucano

Not fixed gear but tricycle, red, and composite. Not quite 50cc size though.

haha thanks guys. I finally found the plane in a Fly RC magazine AT MY OFFICE. No wonder I couldn't find it in any of my magazines at home. It is a 1/4 scale Falco F8L 84' WS, 40-50 cc engine. It's on the bottom of page 20 in the May issue. It doesn't seem to be listed on their website yet, but apparantly was on display at the AMA Expo. Maybe we'll find out more about it in Toledo. I think it's a really beautiful plane and the full scale has retracts. I can't really tell for sure if the model has retracts or not.

I found this on a search. I couldn't find it on the web page, though.

Looks like the companies main plane was a Crossfire and it had a decent write-up here back in 2006.  Using wayback I see the Falco was listed on their site in '08 to '11.

Well, I think it's a pretty sexy plane and might want to own it someday if they actually produce it for sale. It doesn't have bad wing loading if their weight estimates are reasonable.
