Anyone find Pt props pull a lot more amps than an equivalent Mejzlik.

Nope, measured in flight, a Mejzlik 20.5x12WE draws a few amps max more than a PT 21x12WE on a Q80-14. Flight mAh similar.

As Smooth Pass, I also find the PT to draw slightly less than APC on the bench. Is your motor significantly higher kv than the Q (210), possibly a higher rpm explains the difference?

I notice that you're running 8S - my experience is w 10S - explains the higher A than I see. However, considering about 3.5v/c at WOT your motor is turning 700-800 more rpm. Maybe the drag profile of the props at the higher rpm is enough to account for your observed measurements. Seems like a bit much prop for 8S.

Your right about it being too much prop.I like the speed of the 20x13 but I have to be careful with throttle management.I think a 20x12 is probably better suited to my setup.
