Here is an onboard video of me flying my Shockjet with a Jet Central Falcon (22 lbs thrust). I do a lot of takeoffs and landings since they are the most important part of flying. I'm curious to see what others think about me being ready to dvance into scale jets. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

The best scale jet is the carf eurofighter in one airframe you will have scale sport and trainer like jet .i have two one scale 38lbs and 3 D 26 lbs both fly superb with no bad habits and the light one will fly with falcon no 3 D just nice scale like flights.

I like the looks and size of Jet Legend f-15B. I had a Fly Eagle L39 1/7 as a first turbine jet and crashed it due to its 96 oz per square foot wing loading. (Needless to say I stalled it coming in to land) So I admit I should have gotten the Shock Jet first.
Thankyou for your replies

The l-39 it's not a trainer like all think I find the jet to be difficult on landings and stools like crazy.

I'm guessing no wind at your flying site?

If your interested in an F15 and dont mind building a bit, id suggest either the Yellow Aircraft or Phillip Avonds F15. They are by far some of the best flying F15's out there. Skymaster would be another good choice as well.

I wonder if larger jets are easier to fly than smaller ones. That's why I was interested in the Jet Legend F-15B. (1/8 scale instead of the common 1/9). I think it has around a 65 inch wingspan vs 55 inch.

Bigger jets are easier to fly. And the F-15 would be a great choice as a first scale jet. They are stable and they land very easy.

+ 1 and Mike at GJC will take good care of ya. Another good scale jet is the GJC CT-114. Love mine and lands like a Shock. Mabey even better.
