I recently came across a brand new in the box mini inferno buggy for 100 bucks. I could not pass it up since I have always wanted one and the price was pretty good. I have driven it for a few weeks now and I realy like the way it handles and jumps. I am however ready to upgrade the motor to brushless and lipo power. I am not wanting to turn this into an uncontrolable rocket ship, I just want alot more speed than stock. I have looked around on the web and there does not seem to be a whole lot of in stock parts for these little buggys. I am looking for some advice from those who have gone down this road before me. I dont have alot of money left over after my bills each month so I am looking to get it done right the first time and not have some thing that is not dependable. Thanks for your help.

What are you looking to spend on brushless? You should probably look at upgrading the drivetrain.

I am leaning towards the less expensive scale of things. I dont really know what I want to spend in particular. I would have to see what the options are to make that decision.

I have my eye on a Castle Creations 1/18 Sidewinder Micro ESC + 4100kV BrushlessMotor System. I am not very sure if this will work in the mini inferno buggy so I ask you for your opinion.
