I see the term c/10 used a lot in NiMH batteries. OK, I'm ignorant when it comes to batteries but what does c/10 mean?

Thanks,

Mark

C is the rated capacity of the battery.

C/10 is the charge or discharge rate.

For a pack rated at 700 mAH C=700
If you are charging it at C/10 that is 70 mA.
Fast chargeing at 2C is 1400 mA.
