I haven't seen it mentioned in this forum yet, but there is a great app to help in trimming a plane out. It is called "Trim App" and is available for both Android and iPhones (iPad too). Guides you through the trimming process based largely on Peter GOldsmith's article of a few years ago.

This is the iPhone link

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/trim-app/id635579978?mt=8

Just search for "Trim App"

Best 99 cents you can spend

Awesome!

In browsing around, there is a pretty cool IMAC app by the same maker. Would be useful for pattern too, but pretty darn complete for an IMAC pilot.

I just downloaded both.

The IMAC App has a trim section in it, but this new stand alone app if much easier to use. Worth all 99 pennies if you ask me!!

I bought both. I ran through a mock trial of the trim app, it's pretty cool! Super easy to use. I really needed something like that since I fly alone a lot.

With electric it will be really easy to fly a 2-pass trim flight, land and enter result, and repeat till the app is complete. It's nice that we don't burn energy sitting on the ground.
