So you mean that your using a castor based fuel.
If so , the pros run a couple of tanks using a synthetic based lubricant
to clean the castor.

I saw it on another thread somewhere but i dont remember.

I use windex with vinagar mixed with windsheid washer fluid about half and half then add bout 4 oz or so of denatured alcohol. Works like a charm.

Straight rubbing alcohol with blue shop towels. Do not use regular, cheap paper towels, they will scatch the covering.

The new Windex wipes in a yellow dispenser bag are amazing. My planes have never been so clean so easily. Absolutly no streaks or residue.

Forget spray Windex on castor - a waste of time. All it does is smear it around. Haven't tried the wipes though.

I use Omega with extra castor in my Moki 2.10 and the best stuff yet I've found for cleaning is Simple Green Automotive (NOT the household Simple Green). It really cuts the greasy film that castor leaves better than any other spray-on cleaner I've found. It smells nice, leaves no film, and you can get it at any auto store.
