Status: offline 		I love the questions that follow as a pilot walks back to the pit area with the remains of the plane. The most common, and inane, question is "What happened"? The answer "Obviously, I crashed".

Status: offline 		Does it count that when I got home from writing off my big blue scratchbuilt (see my icon on left or gallery) my wife leapt for joy and yelled 'Yippee'? She hated the plane, particularly my simplistic hi-viz colour scheme.

Status: offline 		Wow! did you see that? Halfway through my low inverted pass I did a beautifull quarter snap to the left, three perfect cart wheels, and then I lost control and it crashed. (OK, I admit it, I stole that from R/C Report magazine.)

Status: offline 		what a riot this thread is! Today at the field, a guy said that his friend ( who was doing an inverted pass directly in front of us) had that Arrow for three years. A guy on the other side of shouted " good job cutting the grass!" and then there was that "thump" followed that that uncomfortable silent moment...

Status: online 		I had 2 crashes in a row this saturday. After the first a guy asked what happened.....hmmmm. I laughed and said "I flew it to the crash site".

After the second one the same guy asked What happened? I said I was trying to find where I planted that darn magical bean!.....This was a total disaster crash....the first was unharmed.

Maybe you could crash it closer next time?

Took a minute to hear the "thump" of it hitting the ground...
