A combat flier practicing for the Nats crashes regularly at our field with his homemade abortions with wings. The last time everyone was just shaking their heads. Afraid to ask, I asked "Why did this one crash?" I he said in a matter of fact voice, "I meant to do that."

That sure busted up everyone, denial at it's worst.

probably the funniest thing one of my SPAD flying buds said after he totalled his plane beyond repair, "i think thats gonna take a LITTLE more than 5 minutes to fix...just a little..."
OR
when my brother crashed into my tensor with his big 2ch plane i said this to the dudes behind me "see, i CAN make 2 planes crash at the same time! " they laughed their heads off after that

I use a safety net every time I fly. My safety net is the ground. No matter how bad I mess up, the ground always catches my plane…

You Should have throteled back before it hit the ground, then it wouldn't have been so bad.
I forgot to put the wingbolts in.
I didn't know that it could break into more pieces that it was in the kit.
I didn't klnow that something so big could break into so many small pieces.
I knew I should have charged the battery longer.
It was easy on the simulator.
I thought I could get one more flight out of it.
I was only A little crack.
it was spinning you should have given more "up"
Hey man watch this its going to be cool.
Well, It worked yesterday.

"AW Hell naw..."

"Hey, who put that cylinder head in my way?!"

"Eh, no biggie. I see the 1:1 MT's running on three wheels all the time."

"%*9^ GRAVITY!"

"I think I hit a cat...yeah...I'm pretty sure I hit a cat...it's attacking the truck..."

"Ya know, I should put some wheels there...this thing's on it's roof more than on it's wheels!"

"IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A MT! IT'S A....lawndart..."

"Someone catch that wheel, I need to duck it back on!"

"It swapped ends on me..."

Normally I have about eight secs wondering what's happened. Then I go either "da*n", "noooo" or "Da*n it".

Pretty upset if it's one of my good helis. Not very often though if I may add . Last one was due to the crappy ESC's BEC crapping out with the RX. Can't remember the one before that...

My son and I had been flying glow for a short while when we bought a Tiger 400 and wanted to try electric. At our field, we fly the slow electrics like these off to the side, as he took the controls he seemed to get close to a tree line and I told him " dont fly too close to those trees over there on the tree line. It couldnt have been 60 seconds later that he put it into a tree near the tree line. As a good father I tried to calmly ask him why he was so close to that tree when I told him to stay away from the trees, his response was....." I didnt know you meant that tree too"! KIDS!!
like the late great George Carlin said," teenagers should live outside of town in caves and we just bring them food now and then.
