Status: offline 		I bought a Tmaxx 2.5 about 4 weeks ago, but I haven't ran it in 1 week. I fired it up today and was driving it around. It runs just fine then all of a sudden the engine shuts down. I fire it up again works good then come to a stop and the engine shuts down again. Any ideas? Any help will be great.

Status: offline 		What temps are you getting to? Perhaps it is overheating.

Also, maybe it is running rich (if it happens before you actually get to normal temp) and gets loaded up with fuel.
Need more info I think

Status: offline 		I vote with Fordplay on this one - bad glow plug.

It's happened a lot with my savage ss too - just try out a new glow plug in there, worked for me

Status: offline 		Try a new glow plug. Does it run fine while not moving? If not then check your idle setting.

Status: offline 		Hey, when my glow plug went it wouldn't stall until I tried to move off.

A new glow plug sorted it out though, so that HAD to be the problem...

Just because it idles OK with a plug, doesn't mean that plug is good :P

Status: offline 		u said u didn't run it for a week did u leave old fuel in it? if u do that the alcohol evaperates and the truck will run like crap.if not probably 2n lean or glow plug

Status: offline 		my t-maxx use to do that all the time. I could never run a full tank of gas without having to let it cool down to restart. I bought a fantom racing 18 motor, and now i am happy again.
