Any suggestions on a replacement muffler for the Z230? I have heard that the stock one is loud, and I would like a quiter one.

Thanks

You can try a Bisson Muffler for gassers, you need to modify the direction of the outlet, which is relatively simple
Bruce Hansons Tuned Pipe setup is quiet, and can mount on either side of the heli.
Hatori makes a pricey 2 piece muffler for gassers which mounts on either side, and Century may still have their gas muffler around, although I believe it was designed for use on XCELL Gassers(mounts on the right side)
Thing you have to check on the ergo gasser is that the canopy made need to be cut to accept the mufflers where it doesn't for Bruce's pipe setup.

I have used the exhaust setup on a machine that had a Hanson modified engine in it,after cutting the coupler several times it was right on, and flew very well, with a significant power increase.
The exhaust by itself does work well, but you have to tune it for maximum efficiency.

Has anyone used the MACS pipe on their Z230? I'm kinda interested in that.
