Hey fellas & gals, I was just having a talk with a buddy that owns a trailer similar to mine (6 x 12 Wells Cargo) and he told me of an unfortunate event. Seems he and another fella were heading to an event in Redmond Oregon with their models in the trailer. One of the models was up on a shelf tied down with bungy cord. At some point, it bounced and broke loose causing it to roll forward off the slelf. It broke the stringers on the bottom of the model and fortunately did not snap the model in half!! So, after some hasty repairs, it was flown all weekend. But the lesson here is to be sure and have a back up restraint system. I will post a photo of my solution to this in the next day or so. What I have done is incorporated the use of plastic cable ties to my system as a backup. I have installed eyebolts and now tie down the main gear and the tail. Plastic ties are cheap and for the cost of these models, it's worth the extra cost. I may come up with a better, reusable method, but for now this works great. C&B
