Mike,

I just purchased four HS-5625MG servos. On the back of three of the boxes, there's a small label placed over top of the original specs printed on the box. On this label is a new set of specifications that's slightly different than the original printing on the box. Actually, the only thing that's different is the torque.

Since three of the 5625's have the new label with the higher torque specs (109.7 oz/in), and one has the original printing (76.37 oz/in), should I be concerned that I have mis-matched servos in terms of output power? Do I need to return this odd one for an updated servo? Everything else on the box is exactly the same, including the bar-codes.

All the servos are the same. The new label is correct, the origional box was not.

Mike.

Mike,

I too have just purchased (4) 5625s and (1) 5645 for my 1/4-scale H9 Cap 232. ((2) 5625s for elevator, (2) 5625s for airlons, and 5645 for rudder.) They all have the new label on them. What is the story here? Your specifications on your website still show the 5625 having a 77oz torque. The new label says it has 109oz torque.

Is this because the servos where upgraded to handle the higher torque or where the originals incorrectly spec'd?

I'm not real concerned right now because in my current application, 77oz torgue would still be sufficient. If I do upgrade my flying to 33% or 40% I would like to be able to transfered these servos to the bigger aircraft.
